Adjustable Proportioning Valve (Brakes)
Anyone using FRPP's adjustable proportioning valve?? I'm installing a '93 Cobra disc brake rear in my '89 GT and I was told that since the Cobra prop. valve has been discontinued by Ford, I should gut my existing prop. valve and use the adjustable valve downstream of it. Anyone ever do this??

Yep it works great
you can try either getting a 94-95 non ABS prop valve which should work if you get the bigger master cylinder already, I gutted mine and bought the adjustable valve from JEG's for about 45 bucks and the plug to cover the plug you remove after gutting the stock Prop Valve from Ford for about 6 bucks http://svo73mm.cjb.net/ this guy has alot of good info on this |

Thanks for the info and the link. I already have the '93 Cobra booster and master cylinder. I'm in the process of collecting all the parts I'll need for the rear install. I have a weeks vacation in August and plan on doing it then. Thanks again.
