Pulley dilema
Hello, I have put a 1884 302 into my 1968 Mustang. It has a 50oz stock balancer from the 1984 and a 1968 water pump. I can't find any pulley's to fit this application. I bought a set from a 1970 302 and thet were to large and would hit. It is a four bolt crank. Any suggestions?

Is the 84 motor a serpintine belt motor? Or V-belt? If its a serp, is the pump pulley smooth or groved?
If its a V-belt the stock 84 pump should work. It may dump to the wrong side for the radiator, but they sell late model pumps that dump to either sides. . Or have your rad tanks swaped. |
