![]() i was wondering if anyone knew how to make the rear quarter window weather stripping look like new, mine is original from 87 and looks like crap, it's killing the looks of my car, i was thinking of maybe giving it a light sand with 1000 grit and then wet sanding it with 1500 grit to make it all look the same and then bump it off with mother's new back to black weather guard gel. This is just my suggestion, i am looking to see if anyone else has tried anything different. thanx

Rub'em down with paint thinner. |

![]() You could also get the kit from Steeda, but it's an overlay kit rather than a restoration kit. It sells for around 100 bucks I think.
