I am looking at 68 mustang that i want to buy, but i want it to be original. This car has a moonroof on it and i wanted to know if that was a dealer option or something the owner added later

as far as I know, a sunroof was not an option on early stangs. I could be wrong anyone else ever hear of such a thing?

No sunroof option in 68.
The first factory sunroof that I recall was around 71-72, could be off a little here, Tbird/Lincoln. The panel was a solid metal piece too.
