Post Loud Valvetrain....help

New motor, stock 2bbl. 289, full of PAW parts. About 1000miles on it and running 5w-30. I floored it yesterday for the first time and as I let off, I started to get loud ticking noise, like when your low on oil. Then it went away like 30 seconds later. It never happened before, until I reved it all the way. It repeated itself a couple times after...soon after exiting the freeway. So it seems when I run the engine up, it might do this. Is it the lifter pumping up or not bleeding down fast enough? It seems these PAW parts are not too great, besides this prob, I always get a light valvetrain noise at idle and cruise...could be I have junky lifter, rockers and/or pushrods? THe cam is a Comp Cam 260H. Thanks.
