need help with taillights
On the 1966 mustang we are restoring we have break lights but when we turn on the turn signals both blink but the light does not stay on for reg. tail lights on the driver side but the other side will stay on.

Sounds to me like a short in the wiring somewhere. More info wouldn't hurt. Like, how do they behave with just the headlights on, how do they behave when the brake pedal is pressed, signals, etc. Also try reverse and see if the backup lights illuminate with any problems. Try and isolate if they go haywire when you do a certain thing(i.e. press the brake pedal).

Also, check your grounds. Sounds like it maybe bleeding through.
May also be the t-signal switch too. |
