![]() My best friend was killed in 1988 and I have the car he was rebuilding. it is a 1979 Ford Cobra hatchback. He put a rebuilt 1966 289 engine with a C4 automatic transmission with a B&M shifter in it. When the car hits about 60MPH the Tack reads about 6k. Is the transmission correct? is the rear end correct (rear end was not changed from the original 4cyl Turbocharged Cobra engine). what do I need for this car to make it drive. I am committed, help?? thanks
