Rear end
The rear end on my 67' coupe has me sort of baffled as to what it is. On the i.d. tag it say 2.79 and it has an asterix(*) on it what does that mean. Anyone know?? The others I've seen dont have an asterix I know possi's have an L. what do limited slips have?

I think that you will find that Posi and limited slip are one and the same.
Don't know what a "*" is though. |

agreed..."posi" is a Chevy term. Ford's came with limited slip. I've never seen an * on one though. All I've ever seen is an L.
