rebuilt heads

this guy say he would sell me his lon block but i ask only for the heads and i offered 150 for them he said cool
is that too much for rebuilt heads it has all the stuff ready to bolt on.

does long blocks have cams in them?

$150 is a fair price for a rebuilt set of heads.

A long block usually includes everything but the oil pan, valve covers, intake manifold, carb, ignition (distributor/wires/plugs), exhaust manifolds, and sometimes the water pump.

Take care,
~Chris

I remember the buick wide block, got me confused with short and long block terms, but that was a while ago.

Which heads are they, and what heads are they replacing?

ponyexpress289 09-25-2002 01:10 PM

they r replacing my stock original heads that have rust and build up

with rebuilt stock heads

It would be a wise purchase. Whether or not you notice much difference will depend on how bad your current heads are, but having a set of freshly rebuilt heads is always smart.

Take care,
~Chris
