Replace V6 with V8
I have a 78 stang II and I want to put a 302 in it but after putting engine in the oil pan hits the cross member and steering assembly. Did Ford use a special oil pan??? I am stumped HELP!!!

I did the same thing, ended up denting and re welding the oil pan, it was a 1969302 I put in a 78 mustang II.
I looked for a cobra II oil pan but no luck. ------------------ 1989GT,373grs, B&M 2500Stall, shft kt organic clutches and Kevlar band. Turbo mufflers. 66GT350 conv replica, 351w,C4, B&M stall, shift kit and clutches. 9" detoit locker. turbo mufflers. |
