Hey Blue, great to hear you want to work on the car yourself. I have to say Jaydee is dead on. Books are good, but nothing like having people around who have been there done that. If you start hanging around with mustang people, they will have you help them work on their cars and there is nothing like someone with experience right there. Once you have some basics down, the books will make a whole lot more sense. I am also really fond of the tech sections of magazines like Mustang Monthly, Chevy High Proformance, etc.
As you read, try not to get to frustrated, it is like learning a whole new language and takes some time to learn the language so at first it will be a real pain. |
