rotten rear frame rails
Mine is a '65 coupe, v-8. i have discovered about a foot long rotten place on my rear frame rails right at the places where the leaf springs attach at the very back...anybody ever replaced these? do i have to replace the whole rail or can it be patched? where do i buy these rails? where can i find info? any help would be appreciated...

If its a straight piece, any metal yard or maybe hardware store could have it. If its bent then you may have to contact a mustang supply to find out where to get it.
If you put where your from someone may be able to recomend a location close to you. Id replace the rail all the way to floor pan, both sides.

CJs carries them... www.emustang.com ... but I agree, if it is just a straight piece, be sure to clean up the steel and make sure you are welding your new pieces on good, solid metal.
