Post Rust

Hi everybody,
I just had a new top installed. WHen I went to pick it up the first time, it wasn't ready yet. The installed showed me a bar that runs across the top of the trunk where the bottom on the top bolts on. It was rusted almost completely away. He's telling me this should be U shaped and curve around to the sides of the car to drain away water that flows off the top. 2 questions, does anyone know what this part is called? And does anyone know if there's an aftermarket one available, or do I have to make something?

As always thanks for the help.
Brian

Brian,
I wish I could tell you what this is called but I would call some Mustang parts suppliers and see if they have a name for this. You will probably need to find a donor car to get one of these.
