Rusty crome bumper

Anyone know a way to get surface rust off of a crome bumper?
Thanks,
Orion

I would say that your best bet is too send it out to be sanded and re-chromed. If it isn't too much rust I would say just put a little wax or something on it to slow it for now and once it gets bad enough to be worth while, then send it out.

If it insn't original you may just want to get another. They are easy to find and fairly cheap (80-120 dollars depending on quality and vender).

Try scrubbing the rust with some steel wool (like SOS billo pads) and soppy water. If the rust is not too bad, this will work wonders. Then keep it waxed. If the chrome is really pitted, well you get the idea. Good luck.
