Question Wheels/Tires for sale. What's a good price

I am thinking about selling my stock 91 pony wheels with BFG CompTA ZR tires that have about 3,000 miles on them. Since these will probably never be on my car again I figured that I would sell them to pay for my nitrous kit. What would be a good asking price???

------------------
91 Coupe with fresh rebuild. Running Stage 2 Avenger heads (51cc chambers), Stage 2 cam (.549, .566)1.7 Crane Gold Race rockers, Port matched GT-40 upper & lower, 75mm MAF, 65 mm TB, MSD 6AL, Long Tubes through off road and Dynomax muffs. Stock T-5 and 3.73 gears. Big Blue Bottle on it's way!!!
Best time so far = 60'=2.021, 1/8=8.366 at 86.37 mph and the 1/4 was 12.926 at 108.44 mph.

I would say probably about 20 bucks.. Well, I guess I will buy them from ya then.. Go ahead and give me your address and I will get the check in the mail I have not a clue what they would go for. What size tires are the BFG's. I am assuming that the tires cost around 550-700 dollars. But with ware on them. Have you thought about ebay and setting a reserve?

The tires are 225-55-ZR16 stock size. (I think. I'll check when I get home from work.) I've never sold anything on E-Bay but maybe I'll give it a try. I just did not know how much to ask for. Again, the tires only have about 3,000 miles on them if that. The wheels were on the car for about 30,000 miles so they are in really good shape.

look on e-bay and see what the going price is for them, look for auctions that are almost over for the higest price and set a reserve cuase otherwise you will have to sell to highest bidder if u don't

Why put a reserve on eBay? You'll have people nickle & dime you to death, and continually e-mail you wanting to know your reserve.

Just start your bidding at the least you will sell them for. Then people know from the git-go what to bid. If they don't sell, relist at a lower price.

Good clear photos are a necessity.

New ponys run $500 and the tires are used.. low mileage is good but.. I would expect to pay between $600-700 for the set. If I was thinking of buying them, that is what I would consider a fair price.

Thanks for the replies. I was hoping to get about $500-600.00 for them so it sounds like I was in the ball park!
Thanks again. I think that I will try our local paper first because I have never sold anything on ebay.
