serial # location on a 65 Mustang

I want to know where the serial numbers are at on a 65 mustang so I can have my husband check to see if the motor and everything is original in the car we bought. He says he thinks there should be one on the frame, motor, transmission, and rear end. Can any one tell me the locations and specifically where to look on each item? We already looked up the serial # on the title 5F07T624017. Any help is sincerely appreciated!!! Thanks, Mary

The door should have the VIN and the options installed. The best way to find out what the option codes mean would be a search for a mustang VIN decoder. (I dont have the URL for the one I used anymore or I'd post it).
There should also be a number on the driver fenderwell, in the engine compartment, sorry, but I'm fuzzy on looking for engine block numbers too.
As far as I know, I think the rear end will only have the code for the installed rear gear/type differential. It should be on a small metal tab bolted to the rear end. (Sorry, cant be more specific , but I'm still learning myself)
