serial number ???
 

Will the serial # be the same on the door tags, inner fenders, etc as what is on the title. I have bought a 66 stang project that has the door tags missing, did find some other numbers in other areas but rusty and hard to read. Thanks for the help.

They should all be the same

I guess I am wrong, but I thought back in the 60's they did not put tags on doors and such. I thought it was only on the cowl and dash (vin plate)???:confused:

I don't think they put the #'s on the dash until '67. I know my '66 has it on the door jam and none on the dash.

my 65 has the VIN on the door, and fender, not on dash

my 67 fastback that i have owned for 27 years(and is still my favorite car) has the door tag
