The SS package I am guessing was just the term the place gave to the upgade for the block. I got it out of Virginia but the info was lost. There is a lope but it is very weak. The place where I got the engine had like 4 proformance packages, The first was a stock 302 then there was the SS package and then the prices jumped to like 5000.00 and higher. I am sorry but all I know is I got the bargin horsepower one. Thanks Brock
