It would probably be best to replace anything that wasn't installed correctly and shows any wear. Check out the clutches if you have a posi. Setting up the ring and pinion can be done but is difficult without the proper tools, and setting up a clutch-pak is even harder unless you just reuse the shims that are already in there. Depending on your location there might be a local place to do the work but it usually isn't cheap but worth it when you think about it.
