I can only speak for myself, but I did it on my 68 when I replaced the gas tank and it was a piece of cake. Just removed the few brackets holding the old one in place, laid them down where I removed them, and hooked up the new ones the same way I removed the old ones. If I remember correctly, it only came in 3 pieces. I also replaced all the rubber lines too. One of the few things that has went smoothly for me.
