I have a question about what color my hood inserts were originally painted. I have a 68 coupe with hood mounted turn signal lights. I'm not talking about the large scoops which I know were originally painted the color of the car, but the little inserts that look like little grills. I've seen them painted the color of the car and also semi-gloss black. Would like to paint the way they were in 68?

Also, what color should the end of the wiper mechanisms be painted? The wipers are off the car and the parts that the wiper arms hook to are covered with primer. I doubt much of it will be seen when the wipers are installed but should they be black or the color of the car? Thanks.
