The Demon carb is based on the basic Holley carb. All of the "bad" features of the Holley were eliminated and the carb was re-engineered. In my opinion it is head and shouders above the typical Holley. Throttle response is immediate and H.P. numbers will be much better. The big difference is that the Demon is milled from billit aluminum, whereas the typical Holley is cast. The milled billit is far and away smoother, more precise ect. No casting ridges, lines ect. Since the Demon is all done on a CNC machine every carb (of a given part #) is exactly the same. So if you have to buy a replacement part it will be exactly the same as the piec that you have. Also every venturi, float bowl, metering block in exactly the same, which makes for a much smoother, more equalized flowing carb out of the box.
