It has a stock carb. I rebuilt it last year because it was leaking fuel around the spacer. I went ahead and bought new plugs and put those in yesterday. I didn't see any sense in just replacing 1 plug. Besides it needed new plugs anyway. I actually drive the car everyday when it is running. I also had to replace the plug wires as well, about half of them broke when I removed them to check plugs.
I bought the car last year, and so far I have rebuilt the carb, replaced the points twice, The first set of points I bought were faulty, replaced cab and rotor, changed the timing gear and chain, replace the oil pan gasket, the alternator, voltage regulator, the coil, the start selnoid, the power steering hose, Now it needs a new power steering compressor. I actually took it to a ford dealership and had them turn the distributer around ( it was 180 out) this thing is almost too much work. This does not include body work that needs to be done.
