8" or 9"
If you really think you can get 250-300 HP from your six, then you might want to upgrage to an 8" limited slip rear end. I do OK with an 8" Currie Traction-lock. I'm pretty sure you won't get more torque than I make with my 306. The 7 1/2" axle won't cut it for any serious performance upgrades. Only my $.02.
