I put an Auburn Pro in my 8". It's much better than the Traction-Lock unit that I used to have. Are you happy with the gear ratio that you have now? You do need different bearings to install that unit. I bought the Auburn Pro new off the net for $389 and got the bearings locally for $35. I did install the unit into the 3rd member myself. You could pay to have that done, taking the 3rd member out and reinstalling yourself. Cost to me was about $425 for the Auburn Pro and bearings doing all the labor myself. That was a couple of years ago, might be more now.
