Are these good compression values?
So, she's been sitting for several months, and I'm trying to get her back on the road. I recently rebuilt the carb and replaced the distributor. With help of other MMB members, I found TDC and set timing. The timing is still way off(hissing and puffing from the carb, running REALLY rough) I did a compression check and got the following values:
1: 120psi
2: 120psi
3: 125psi
4: 125psi
5: 120psi
6: 110psi
7: 135psi
8: 130psi
Car is a 1967 HT coupe. Engine is a 302 w/ 4bbl Edlebrock. It was somewhat cold when these values are taken, so I'm not sure how much effect that has.
My question: Does this engine look like it has any major problems? Should I look into a new engine, a brand new carb, or have the head rebuilt?
