![]() My 65 mustang originally came with a 4 barrel and some idiot replaced it with a 2 barrel. I'm in the process of setting things straight. I got a 66 intake from a buddy of mine that had it laying around his house. My uncle had a 4 barrel Carter AFB that he thinks came out of a 69 mach I. Stamped on the front of the carb are the words "Carter AFB" surrounded by two horses. The numbers stamped on the front are 1060 followed by a sequence number. Does anyone have any knowledge about this carb?

![]() well, how experienced are you with carbs? They're really easy to figure out and some brands are way diff. from eachother. Carters (edelb) use a needle and jet combo that can be very convenient and reliable to adjust. It's a great daily driver carb but it has caused some "bogging" headaches for other gearheads who have converted to Holley, demon, etc. Just read up on them, buy a book, search the forums, or keep asking questions here
