Default what to be aware of ?

Hello again
Thanks for all the previous help. I now know I have a 302 in my 66 coupe..It has a torker 289 intake manifold on it with a 600cfm edelbrock carb. I was wondering what my concerns should be regarding the tranny and rear end. I want to make sure the previous owner didn't create problems for me. I also have a real shake at 60 mph. I thought it was a front tire balance problem, the car shakes, but a mechanic friend thinks it might be in the drivetrain..maybe a dinged drive shaft?? Im not sure . He says he can feel it when he blips the throttle. I couldn't in the passenger seat. Any Ideas?
Thanks
Ken
