![]() I’m working on restoring my first mustang (65 convertible) and need advice on a transmission leak. I recently removed the speedometer cable but didn’t have the correct replacement. I left the car on ramps for a week until the new cable came in. After it did I came back to find all of my transmission fluid on the garage floor. It previously had no leaks at all. It looks like it’s dripping from the u-joint. Anyone have any advice on where the problem could be?

Out of all 19 rear wheel drive fords I've owned leak from the output shaft at any point of time. I would check it. ross |
