![]() I have a '67 with factory air and have just changed everything - dryer, compressor, expansion valve, etc - out to switch to 134. I bought the compressor (the big cast iron one) from Auto Zone and they assured me that it is compatible with 134. Well, it cools OK but the compressor makes a lot of noise which it did not do when I was using R12 - I have tried two compressors, same noise. Any ideas? I can't exist in this Texas heat without air but I could do without the noise. Thanks, E.
