I need help for my 68
Well I have a 68 Mustang coupe with a 302 engine. The engine is running great, the problem is getting it to stay on. As long as the transmission is in park or neutral the cars stays on but if I drop it into any gear, 1,2,D or R it just stops. I can force it to stay on by giving it some gas and holding the brake. After I get it to stay in gear it works fine, until the engine cools and then the same happens again. Can anybody help me with this problem. I don't know if it is the tranny or engine or what?
