![]() Can Someone Help Me Price This '69 Mustang Faastback?
My husband literally lived for Mustangs. He had a '69 Fastback in its original light yellow color with all new big blaock engine and entire new undercarriage. When he brought it home from its original owner, he drove it at 120 MPH. What a ride that must had been for him. The car is stock, but does have racing harnesses in it. It has always ben garaged, and started frequently and taken out for a spin. The interior is trashed, and it needs new paint, but there is no rust and it has never been wrecked. He had big plans for that awesome car, but never got to see them through, as he passed away in December of '05, at only 44 years old. He told me where every reciept was for the car, but I have yet to locate them, but I don't give up easily and will find them. The title is clear. This is not a junker, but a project near compleation. In the right hands, someone will have one awesome Mustang! He was going to paint it "Bing Cherry" and he was a true artist with the paint gun. The car must be sold and I need an idea as to what it is worth. Is there an honest person out there who could give me a hand with this? I have been to so many car shows, and I know there is plenty of value here. Please contact me at: [EMAIL=paloma@lewiscounty.com] and I will give you more details. This has been a very sad year for me and I ask that please, only people that are serious e-mail me. I am sure you understand. The car is located in Washington State, on the west side. Thank you for anyone who could give me some guidelines. |

![]() Thank you for your fast reply. It gives me some hope in my heart. No one has helped me so far, as I have the feeling they will tell me it is not worth much and try to buy it from me for very little. After I get some sleep, I will go out and give the Mustang a good going over, but it is really going to hurt. Allan, that was my husband, so loved that car and it would make me so happy to know that someone who would really make her beautiful again buy it. Sometimes, it is hard to trust people, but I feel I can trust you. I will take pen and paper with me and note any flaws I find. I will be honest. This car has awesome potential.
Thank you so much. And, I will take my magnet with me to make sure there is no Bondo. On the bright side, I can fix a Mustang transmission, either stick or automatic in no time. After watching a friend of Allan's, I found it interesting and started doing it myself. |
