Default Master cylinder pushrod-How do i get it out??!

Hey, sounds really stupid, but I cannot get the pushrod out of the back of my master cylinder. Its a dual master designed for a 67 mustang, which I had recently installed in my 65. I got it working, but then found i needed a longer pushrod. I made an adjustable one, but now cant get the old one out to swap them. What am i doing wrong? thanks for any and all help.

I've also come to the realization that it seems nobody has disc's on the front without power brakes, is it mandatory to run a booster to get the proper pressure ? Also, i bought my master cylinder from Mustangs plus I believe, I told them what I was doing, disc on front drums on the rear, but the master cylinder reservoirs are the same size. When looking at many other master cylinders installed on peoples cars who are running disc/drum, it seems like one reservoir is larger than the other. Does this make a difference? Sorry, I dont know too much about brakes yet. Thanks again.

Default Re: Master cylinder pushrod-How do i get it out??!

Well, no need to worry about how to get it out, I ended up just pulling the master and cutting the pushrod, extending it and welding it together. The rest doesnt really matter either i guess, since i've tested the brakes out and they are working, just gotta get rid of one leak!! Alright, thanks to those who looked.
