Default Over filling tranny 66 coupe c4

what does this do, no reverse?

Overfilling will cause foam and leaks in trans, but not losing reverse. That's usually band or other internal piece.

Took the transmission fluid pan off, inside i found metal shavings and a very well intack small lock washer. what you all think? did it come from the valve body inside? This is the car with no reverse

those would be the needed parts for the reverse gear, in other words, ur tranny is shot and is in need of a rebuild.

Almost always when you find stuff like that in the pan, it means a rebuild as previously mentioned. Just find a good "transmission man" to rebuild the tranny with high performance bands and clutches and reinstall with possibly an aftermarket torque convertor, shift kit, and deep Al. pan for extra capacity and maybe a trans cooler.
