Question engine codes

I am the owner of a 69 coupe and I have seen a couple of things were it says engine type-d or f something like that. I am kinda getting pissed off because I cant find that stuff anywhere.

HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!

In 69 there was no 289's available, so that rules out the letter "d". The letter "f" means you have a 302-2V, if you have any other questions let me know.
