![]() Does anyone have a definative answer as to what Wheel backspacing works on "66 289's? it seems as though there is no information about this available any where. All the writings ( magazine, tech articles etc) tell what size tires ( 225/45/R16, etc) and wheel sizes ( 16 x 8,17 x 8) But they all leave out what seems to me the most important fact, the backspacing or offset. What Really works for both front and rear wheels? I'm ready to purchase some wheels but I dont want to make a mistake and get something that wont work.I'm leaning towards 17 x 8's. Any comments guys?
