PROPORTIONING VALVE?

Hi all, I am doing a disc swap using a '77 Monarch, I have a question about th proportioning valve. Is there a difference between one for power assist and one without power assist? Also is there a difference in front-to-back and diagonal set ups? Thanks

Hey Mule, haven't seen you around for awhile. My Granada conversion from Jim's Mustang in Ca. uses a Wilwood (sp?) proportioning valve (about $50). It is front to back, but this is what we want, isn't it? It's adjustable and goes down to about 40% to the rear minimum. Works great for me. SSBC has one and is probably good too. Wouldn't think anyone would want a diagonally plumbed job.

Thanks Rev, I have been in the middle of a move, from Montana to Florida. I am currently in Willis, Tx. I finally got all the stuff on the way here and I am going to start the swap this weekend. Thanks for the advise.
