I have a 69 Mach 1 that had power steering but was converted to manual by the previous owner. I'd like to convert it back to power, I have the pump and brackets, and I can buy the hoses but I need the center-link, ram, ram bracket, valve...and other parts for the steering system it self. A friend gave me the power steering system from a 74 Maverick that looks to be in good shape. My question is, will any of the parts fit my Mustang or be made to fit?

Art, when you say made to fit the old saying is true"where there is a will there is a way" as far as using the parts from that Maverick it does'nt look to good. The slave cylinder from a 70-72 Maverick will work and the control valve from a 76-77 will fit. Now this is just information about direct fit from one to another and I wish I could tell you more about some of the other parts but I'm not familiar with the Maverick's. I have a 69 Sportsroof and have the original power steering so if there is anything else I can do let me know.
