Default Re: white smoke....and its not the tires

well, i got my new plugs, (bosch platnium 2) and slapped them in, adjusted the air/fuel things, and took off for a bit for a test run. Really helped out at first, but then after i got to my turn around spot, i reved it up, and quite a bit of smoke came out. Probably that accelerator pump or my bowl levels. Driving back home, it started knocking, so i shut it down and pulled into the local lake access. Walked home, got my brother and went back in our jeep, and messed around with it a bit. The spark plugs were ok. I poped off the valve cover, and my #5 exhaust rocker bolt had snapped!! So we towed her back home, and i think i will buy brand new bolts for all of them. Just thought somebody might want to hear it, seemed kinda crazy to me that it snapped, i didnt think that happened!!!

I also figured out why my valve covers leaked, they were cracked!

Believe it or not, I've had that happen before...

And yes, it sucks.
