Default It's 105 degrees in texas... aluminum radiator?

and my car is overheating. It doesnt usually (usually sits at around 190-210. Today it went all the way up to 240. I dont think anything is wrong, because it heated up very slowly as I sat in traffic for 20 minutes. What steps can I take to really help my car keep cooler? Is an alluminum radiator worth it? Testimonials anyone?
