![]() You can all sigh in relief, I know the difference between SD, and MA. What I don't know is the differences between the years of SD computers. The problem I have on my hands is I wanna make bourbon (see quote). I have the cam from an 88 (I think) 5.0 H.O. on the way, and the computer from an 86 (E6SF). I'm not possative the 'puter will work(I know I may need a rewire). Now I know that there's different programs on the Mass Air computers, but what about the SD ones? I'm mostly concerned with injector banks. I'd like to have 4. Is one code better than another? Also, if anyone knows what heads they put on those things(89 Marquis). I don't know if they're E7TE's or not. If they're not, what's the most probable combustion chamber volume? Right now the CR is at about 8.3-8.5/1. not good. (it's the truck engine) also... boy this is getting long... is it O.K. to use JUST a "shim gasket" (.015 thick) under the heads? last but not least. If I use the "shim" gaskets, and the HO cam, do I need to worry about my flat tops mashing a valve? Sorry it's so long guys, and thanx a million for the help. BTW pick on me if you want... I love my Marquis...
