![]() Can anyone tell me why my pony (3.8) runs better before it reaches operating temp? I swear, but it runs like a scalded cat before it reaches the normal operating temp.
However, when it does reach it, the power isn't the same. Prior to the normal operating temp I have excellent power throughout the entire RPM range, but after I don't get power until around 2200 RPMs. Any ideas? Would installing a lower temp thermostat help, or is it unwise (causes premature cylinder wear)like I've heard? I'd love to hear from anyone who's experiencing this too, or has any ideas. Thanks!
