![]() I have an 82 LX with the 2.3 engine. Sometimes the Tach doesn't read the RPM's correctly. It doesn't completely shut off, but only goes upto about 1,000 RPMS. Sometimes it starts to work on its own and sometimes I can pound the top of the dash above the temp controls and it will start to work. Sounds like a loose wire to me. Has anyone isolated this problem?
