![]() Anyone put a 351 Windsor in a 1999 Mustang. If so, what problems did you encounter?

![]() That's probably a better question to post in the windsor forum, this forum is focused toward 3.8L and 2.3L's. That sounds like an awesome swap though. All i can think of that you'd Absolutely need is a K-member and motor mounts from a '94 or '95 GT with the 5.0L along with the trans mount (don't know if you'd need a double hump crossmember). I can't think of anything else off the top of my head because i've never done the swap before. What engine was in the '99, was it a V6 or GT? If it was a LX (V6) you'd probably also want to convert over to the GT front brakes and put an 8.8" in the rear to handle the torque. I'm assuming that the LX and GT have different size brakes though, but i really don't know that much about them. Good luck on your swap.
