			 I was thinking about buying a set of used windsor jr. heads from a guy online for $525(plus shipping) but then I got to thinking "What if they are cracked or wharped and I waste all that money for nothing?" 
		
	
		
		
		
		
		
		
			I don't have the budget for new aftermarket ones either. So I thought "Why not just spend $500-$700 on the heads I already have" Soooooo......I took my heads to the machine shop today and told them I wanted them ported & polished with 1.94/1.60 (2.02/1.60 if they will fit)valves.....the works. He told me he for that much money he could really make them work for me. Was this a wise choice for the cash I have to spend or not? If I had the cash, I would have bought a set of AFR's and been with it...but I don't. The heads I have are from a '73 351w. Will I be able to get the flow out of them I need?

			 Unless you are shooting for 10's all motor I say you made a wise choice. 
		
	
		
		
		
		
		
		
			I like ported heads cause noone will have the exact same set-up as you.
