There are many makes of "sticky" brake pads. I personally like Ceramic pads.
FYI, I don't think they ever made a Maverick with 4 wheel disc brakes. You have to make sure that the residual valve is defeated or removed from the rear drum brake portion of the master cylinder. If not the rear disc brakes will drag.
