Default A strange situation

well it may not seem strange to you but it sure does to me. I just picked up another stang 66 with the front end smashed up(not to bad still is drivable. and has A front bench seat in it. just like my first one(witch I still have) and they are both 6cyl 200. so my question is to you since the one I just picked up is not worth anything to me(sentamental) I am going to sell it. but was woundering how much it woul be worth. I can fix the front end no problem. and I can get it painted for about 400(not A maco job) I am in r-o-p and am learning how to paint. I will be using qualaty meterials. so how much would it be worth it the body was straight and A new paint job. the engine is in preaty good shap. nothing fancy but it runs preaty strong. but the trans ratals alitle bit when I get up to high way speeds.

any ones sugestions is welcome. I am just trying to figure out how much I can make off of this stang to help out my v8 converstion on my other stang.

thanks

Wow!! you have two stangs with the bench seat option? thats cool. I only say so because the bench seat option is somewhat rare, not alot of original owners opted for it insted of the buckets. Check out the numbers on the car before you sell it. The bench can be worth some extra cash on its own to the right person .
I once thought of puting a bench in my car but my husband Then laughed and said, " Your not a teen age boy why the hell would you want a front bench seat?"
He then walked away mumbeling something about several missed opertunity back in the day . ?

induction- thats funny you say that cuz I am A 16 year old male.lol. yea for some reason I like the feel of A bench seat more then the buckets. pluse the other thing.lol.

well I checked into the bench seats and they can run from 350 to 500 depending on the buyer. so probly what I am going to do is sell the stang to some one who wants A front bench seat stang.

thanks for letting me know that the bench seats are rare.

thanks

LOL your welcome (I too learn somthing new everyday )I love ta help as so meny have helped me along the way.
Oh and the bench seat thing, He had a 67 chevelle when he was a teenager that came with a bench seat and a straight 6and auto trans. It was soon comverted to a big block four speed and bucket seats Including a center console. All of this was in effort to go fast ,be cool ,and get "close to" the girls( as are most teen boys)It worked but the problem was doing all three at the same time while driveing the car that is lol

Needless to say his next car was faster but included an auto trans . and no center consol.

Default Back seat?

Hey, there's always the back seat, and a little more private at that. Oh, I wish I was as limber as I once was, sigh.
