The stripes on the Shelby mustangs were two 10" stripes 2" apart. Most people get that wrong. What body style to you have?

Actually the stripes vary quite a bit from front to back. The hood stripes are not the same as the roof stripes, or the ones on the trunk. They give the illusion of being all the same and straight, but they are not. They even vary in width front to back and vary in spacing. I looked for the information, but could not find it.

Loner,

A good place to look is a Tony D. Branda Shelby and Mustangs Parts catalog. I seem to recall that they had a nice drawing with all the critical stripe dimensions at each part of the body. Sorry I don't have mine with me at the moment, or else I would give them to you. Good luck.
