I'm sure everyone has agonized over Ford's 'less than adequate' suspension system. If you don't already know about them, check out
www.totalcontrolproducts.com/main.html . They have finally offered a comprehensive solutiion to the problems that plague all of us vintage Ford owners. I plan to do a Total Control coil over shock conversion on my 66 coupe. This is definately better better than what Ford originally offered. I might do some further modifications to Total Controls coil-over suspension; the brackets that hold the shocks and springs look a little weak (maybe its not a problem and if anyone out there can offer a more educated engineering perspective on them I would appreciate it). I hope this is helpful. I know Total Control's products are a little expensive but I think they're the solution to Ford's front end suspension.
