poor mans way to adjust stock clutch cable
Has anyone tried to install spacers on the clutch cable down near the clutch fork to adjust their cluch because they didn't have an adjustable unit. I was told to try this method as a quick fix to adjust a stock cable.

Did you verify that the ratchet has been reset all the way back to its tightest position? If so and there still is too much slack, a guy sent in a tip to 5.0 Mustang and Super Fords about how to create the spacers.

It was the July issue, I did this a few years back (I swear the guy stole my idea ) It worked alright but I got rid of them because I thought it seemed like a bit of a hack job.
